An Oakwood Resources Client Manager will sell new ideas and solutions to the markets we serve. You’ll work with our clients to provide best-in-class interim management solutions and combining them, where appropriate, with the knowledge-led solutions available from our consulting partners.

Your contributions as a Client Manager

  • Develop commercial and business relationships across all forms of communication with new and existing clients, representing senior-level finance and operational executives in leading UK and international businesses
  • Identify, troubleshoot and provide strategic support in identifying opportunities to provide appropriate solutions, emphasising the customer experience in everything you do
  • Match appropriate skill sets between clients’ business needs and interim management talent in a timely and effective manner
  • Proactively develop deep networks and understanding of the industry, including new opportunities for future solution providing. This includes relationships with both clients and interim managers to ensure their professional objectives and goals are understood and met
  • Leverage all technology tools, including leading CRM, digital customer acquisition and resourcing platforms
  • Bring your own ideas, interests and insights, leveraging your deep financial and commercial expertise – or possibly a hobby or pastime – to bring innovation to Oakwood Resources. What you bring to the role:

  • Five or more years in a finance or accounting role, gained either in public practice, financial services or commerce & industry
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification, or equivalent business experience
  • Career and financial motivation as well as a drive to grow and progress
  • Well-rounded business acumen and the ability to understand, articulate and deliver solutions via a range of different ideas and delivery options
  • A self-starting, can-do attitude and drive to develop business relationships, whether via phone, in-person or digital communication (email, social media, digital platforms etc.)
  • A desire to contribute to a high-growth and ambitious business, at scale-up stage, with an appetite to grow and develop with the business
